What does an Admin Head do?
As an Admin Head with a background in the Armed Forces and substantial experience in managing administrative operations, the ideal candidate will bring discipline, leadership, and strategic planning skills to ensure smooth and efficient management of the organization’s administrative functions.
What does your day look like at Value Health Inc?
Facility Management:
- Oversee the maintenance, safety, and cleanliness of office premises.
- Ensure optimal utilization of facilities and infrastructure.
Security Management:
- Develop and implement security protocols.
- Liaise with security teams and monitor compliance.
Vendor and Resource Management:
- Manage contracts and relationships with vendors and suppliers.
- Ensure timely procurement and availability of office supplies.
Team Leadership:
- Lead and manage the administration team effectively.
- Delegate responsibilities and ensure adherence to deadlines.
Policy Implementation:
- Formulate, implement, and monitor administrative policies and procedures.
- Ensure compliance with organizational standards and government regulations.
Event Coordination:
- Organize and manage corporate events, meetings, and other gatherings.
Crisis Management:
- Develop contingency plans for emergencies like fire, natural disasters, or security threats.
- Train staff in safety and evacuation procedures.
Transportation Management:
- Manage and oversee transportation logistics for staff and executive travel, ensuring cost-effectiveness and timely service.
- Develop transportation policies, negotiate contracts, and coordinate with service providers to ensure smooth transportation operations.
- Monitor and ensure the proper maintenance of company vehicles and transportation-related equipment.
What do we look for in you?
Educational Background :
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, management, or a related field (preferred).
Experience :
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in administrative roles.
- Prior experience in the Armed Forces, holding a leadership position.
- Experience in handling transportation logistics and related operations.
Skills :
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in managing budgets and resources.
- Leadership and people management skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office and other administrative tools.
Preferred Qualities :
- Ability to bring discipline, integrity, and a solutions-driven mindset from a military background.
- Experience in managing large teams and complex operations.
- Strong understanding of compliance and safety standards.
- Knowledge and experience in handling transportation and related logistics.
Work Environment :
- Office-based role with occasional travel as required.
- Requires adaptability and readiness to handle emergencies.
