Steel/Concrete domain. Minimum year of experience in structural steel + connection design – 15+ Years or Minimum year of experience in heavy civils Concrete structures – 15+ Years. Design and FEA Analysis of Buildings, Tunnels, pipes/HVAC steel support structures for the plant design. Experience in any of the software like ROBOT/STAAD Pro/ ETABS/SAP/MATHCAD/ABAQUS/ANSYS/SAFE. Evaluation experience of the Execution design calculations & fabrication drawings. Develop detailed designs from the schematic designs for large projects and schematic for small to medium projects. Providing detailed sketches for Steel connections & RC Shop drawings. High level technical report writing skill and report review. International code - IS, ACI, AISC, ASCE, Eurocodes and CSA. Preferred Skills: Report writing skills are highly preferred. Experience of structural software tools (i.e., IDEA STATICA, TEDDS, RAM Connection) Specialized in Dynamic & Seismic analysis of pipe/ HVAC supports structures. Experience in projects related to Industrial Plant/Power Plant/Oil & Gas. Experience in review of steel fabrication drawings/RC shop drawings Specialized in Dynamic & Seismic analysis of structures with soil structures interaction. You will also be expected to demonstrate the following qualities: Preferably Chartered Engineer or progressing towards their Chartership Strong communication skills, written and verbal. Commercial awareness. Team working, being comfortable working in international teams. A sound understanding of structural analysis methods and structural/building design including applicable codes and standards. Able to identify the key issues/information associate with a task. Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work independently and as part of a team. Ensure projects are delivered to Atkins internal quality standards and processes and industry standards within cost schedule and quality constraints.
