Job Title: Salesforce Developer Location: Thiruvarur / Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India (On-site) Employment Type: Full-Time About PashtekPashtek is a Salesforce consulting and software development company helping clients across the globe implement, customize, and extend the Salesforce platform. We work on Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Health Cloud, Manufacturing Cloud, Experience Cloud, and custom applications built on the Salesforce Platform. We’re expanding our India team in Thiruvarur and Chennai and are looking for passionate Salesforce Developers who love solving real-world business problems with clean, scalable code. Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, test, and deploy solutions on the Salesforce platform (Sales Cloud / Service Cloud / other clouds as needed). Build and maintain Apex classes, triggers, batch classes, schedulable jobs, Queueables, and Lightning Web Components (LWC) . Work with Salesforce configuration: Objects, Fields, Validation Rules, Flows, Approval Processes, Page Layouts, Record Types, Profiles, Permission Sets , etc. Integrate Salesforce with external systems using REST/SOAP APIs , platform events, and middleware where applicable. Collaborate with functional consultants, architects, and QA to understand requirements and convert them into technical designs. Participate in code reviews, follow best practices, and ensure adherence to coding standards and governor limits. Troubleshoot and resolve issues in existing implementations and support ongoing enhancements. Prepare technical documentation (design documents, deployment notes, API specs, etc.). Required Qualifications & Skills1–4+ years of hands-on experience as a Salesforce Developer (freshers with strong Java/OOP + Salesforce training can also be considered for junior roles). Strong understanding of Salesforce data model and security model (roles, profiles, sharing settings). Good experience with: Apex (classes, triggers, test classes) SOQL/SOSL Lightning Web Components (LWC) or Aura Components Flows and declarative automation Solid programming fundamentals in Object-Oriented Programming (e.g., Java) . Familiarity with Salesforce best practices , governor limits, and bulkification. Ability to write unit tests with good code coverage. Good communication skills in English ; ability to discuss requirements and explain solutions clearly. Nice-to-HaveSalesforce certifications (e.g., Platform Developer I, Administrator ). Experience with Git / version control and CI/CD tools. Experience with Integration (REST APIs, Postman, JSON, etc.). Exposure to Health Cloud / Manufacturing Cloud / Experience Cloud is a plus.
