Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of hands-on Ruby on Rails experience
     with strong knowledge of 
    Ruby OOP concepts
    .
  • Proficient in 
    RESTful API development
    , 
    SQL/Postgres
    , and 
    database design
    .
  • Must have experience integrating 
    Payment Gateways
     and working with 
    modern web architecture
    .
  • Familiarity with 
    AWS/Cloud Front
     is a plus.
  • Good understanding of 
    Omni AUTH
    , 
    Capistrano (or similar deployment tools)
    , and application security best practices.
  • Experience with 
    testing & debugging
     (Unit Testing, bug fixing, improving security).
  • Exposure to common RoR libraries and tools like 
    Rspec, Resque, Sidekiq, Redis, Swagger, Action Cable
    , and 
    SMS/Email services
    .
  • Strong knowledge of 
    Git/Bitbucket
     for version control.
  • Ability to design and implement new features, handle projects independently, and collaborate effectively with teams.
  • Bonus: Knowledge of 
    CI/CD pipelines
     and best practices for scalable deployments.
  • Excellent 
    communication and project management skills
    .

What Will You Do?

  • Develop and maintain 
    scalable, efficient, and reliable Ruby on Rails applications
    .
  • Integrate 
    databases, data storage solutions, and front-end elements
     with server-side logic.
  • Ensure 
    high performance, responsiveness, and security
     of applications.
  • Identify and resolve bottlenecks, bugs, and risks
    , while improving code quality and automation.
  • Collaborate with 
    cross-functional teams
     to deliver seamless solutions.
  • Maintain 
    clear communication
    , share progress, and contribute to team motivation.
  • Prepare 
    progress reports and presentations
     for stakeholders when required.
