
Assistant Manager

The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the complete financial and accounting operations for the family office and associated entities. This includes ensuring accurate record-keeping, preparing financial reports, maintaining compliance, and managing cash flow. The candidate will also oversee a small team and collaborate with external consultants for tax and regulatory matters.
Responsibilities :
- Maintain accurate financial records for personal, business, trust, and investment entities.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and MIS reports.
- Supervise bank reconciliations, brokerage accounts, and investment transaction entries.
- Coordinate with tax consultants to ensure timely filing of tax returns (direct and indirect taxes).
- Ensure compliance with statutory regulations such as ESIC, PF, GST, and Shops & Establishment Act.
- Handle accounting for real estate properties, including rental income and maintenance expenses.
- Prepare annual budgets for personal, household, and philanthropic expenses and track variances.
- Manage vendor payments, staff salaries, reimbursements, and petty cash.
- Liaise with bankers, lawyers, investment managers, and service providers for smooth operations.
- Maintain strict confidentiality and integrity in handling sensitive financial and personal data.
Qualifications
- CA Intermediate qualification (mandatory).
- 10+ years of experience in accounting and taxation, preferably in a high-net-worth individual or family office environment.
- Strong knowledge of financial reporting, tax compliance, and investment accounting.
- Advanced proficiency in MS Excel and familiarity with accounting software such as Tally, QuickBooks, Xero, ERP .
- Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Strong communication and coordination skills with internal and external stakeholders.
