Responsibilities:

  • Design and architect Snowflake data warehouse solutions based on business requirements and industry best practices.
  • Lead the implementation and deployment of Snowflake, including designing schemas, setting up databases, ETL pipelines, and integrating with other systems.
  • Optimize and tune Snowflake databases for performance and scalability.
  • Develop data models and provide guidance on data architecture best practices.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including data engineers, data scientists, and business analysts to understand data requirements and implement solutions.
  • Ensure security, data governance, and compliance requirements are met in Snowflake implementations.
  • Provide technical leadership, mentorship, and guidance to junior team members.
  • Stay current with Snowflake updates, new features, and industry trends to recommend and implement best practices.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
  • Proven experience as a Snowflake Architect or similar role with at least (X) years of hands-on experience in designing and implementing Snowflake solutions.
  • Deep understanding of Snowflake architecture, features, and functionalities.
  • Strong SQL skills with experience optimizing SQL queries and performance tuning.
  • Experience with ETL tools and processes, data modeling, and data integration techniques.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud) and their services related to Snowflake (e.g., S3, Azure Blob Storage, Google Cloud Storage).
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to design and implement complex data solutions.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to effectively collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Snowflake certification (SnowPro or similar) is a plus.
  • Experience with Big Data technologies (Hadoop, Spark) and NoSQL databases (MongoDB, Cassandra) is advantageous.
  • Knowledge of data warehousing and business intelligence concepts.



Responsibilities

  • Create plans and drawings which clearly outline architectural design of project
  • Utilize knowledge of engineering, math, science and materials in order to create ideal finished product
  • Conduct site evaluations to ensure quality of work and adherence to safety standards
  • Oversee and make recommendations throughout entire construction process
  • Collaborate with various teams in order to establish goals, schedules and budgets
