Responsibilities : Your key responsibilities are detailed below:

Work and collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams of like-minded professionals – architects/engineers from both construction (design, structural, spatial and MEPF) and technology sectors including product development, UX, UI, Cloud/SaaS, DevOps, etc. – with a singular focus on building a platform which not only automates the oft-repeated activities but also provides accurate and compliant building designs that follow DFMA principles and implement integrated design and development guidelines at its core.Apply numerical methods and provide optimized algorithms to compute, which can help simulate different scenarios acting upon the structural frame of a building model and their adaptations/recommendations for those scenarios.Apply a working understanding of mathematics and computational science to develop workflows, logic and algos which will power core platform capabilities in generating design, visualizing geometry, providing interconnections between different building sections, matching the right components from the supplier’s catalogue for different building topologies, calculate carbon / related sustainable metrics, and accelerate the planning process for the property developers.Convert business logic and complex algorithms provided by SMEs into optimized code.Contribute to the requirements gathering phase when planning new features along with the SMEs and the product team.We appreciate it a lot if you are a problem solver, hence it is required to parachute in critical conditions and come up with innovative solutions.Work with tech leads and architects to contribute to system design and ensure scalability and reliability of the system.This role requires constant learning, on multiple fronts, acquiring domain knowledge related to construction and development processes, mathematical and optimization algorithms, and then combining that knowledge to produce excellent quality software.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's/master's in Computer Science is a must with at least 4 years of relevant experience.Prior experience in practical applications of complex mathematical and optimization algorithms.Prior experience with geospatial data management.Experience with REST Frameworks like Spring Boot.Familiarity with SQL and No-SQL Databases like Postgres / MS SQL / Graph Databases.Past contributions or work experience in the teams developing automation software / generative design systems using algorithms is a big plus.Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.Excellent verbal and written communication skills to help remove ambiguityCollaborative and an excellent team player
