Role details:

Title / Designation : Oracle Exadata Cloud- Exa CS, Exa CC (Database Administrator) Location: Chennai, Mumbai, Bangalore, Hyderabad, Pune, Delhi, Coimbatore. Work Mode: Hybrid

Role & responsibilities:

Design and implement database solutions to meet business requirements, including data modelling, schema design, and database partitioning strategies. Conduct in-depth analysis of database performance issues and implement advanced optimization techniques, such as index tuning, query rewriting, and database partitioning. Implement and maintain high availability and disaster recovery solutions, such as database clustering, replication, and failover configurations. Plan and execute data migration projects, including schema changes, data transformations, and ETL processes. Integrate databases with other systems and applications. Develop and enforce database security policies and procedures. Conduct regular security audits and assessments to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements. Forecast future database capacity requirements and develop scaling strategies to accommodate growth. Evaluate and recommend database technologies and platforms for scalability and performance. Stay informed about emerging trends and technologies in database management. Identify opportunities for process improvements and automation to enhance efficiency and reliability.

Candidate requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent work experience). 5+ years of experience in database administration, with a focus on complex database environments. Need experience in Exa CS, Exa CC, ATP. Expertise in database architecture, design, and optimization. Proficiency in SQL and database management systems (e.g., Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL). Experience with high availability and disaster recovery solutions. Strong understanding of database security principles and compliance requirements. Excellent problem-solving, decision-making, and communication skills.
