Role details :

  • Title / Designation : Oracle Exadata Cloud
  • Exa CS, Exa CC (Database Administrator)
  • Location : Chennai, Mumbai, Bangalore, Hyderabad, Pune, Delhi, Coimbatore.
  • Work Mode : Hybrid

Role & responsibilities :

  • Design and implement database solutions to meet business requirements, including data modelling, schema design, and database partitioning strategies.
  • Conduct indepth analysis of database performance issues and implement advanced optimization techniques, such as index tuning, query rewriting, and database partitioning.
  • Implement and maintain high availability and disaster recovery solutions, such as database clustering, replication, and failover configurations.
  • Plan and execute data migration projects, including schema changes, data transformations, and ETL processes. Integrate databases with other systems and applications.
  • Develop and enforce database security policies and procedures. Conduct regular security audits and assessments to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Forecast future database capacity requirements and develop scaling strategies to accommodate growth. Evaluate and recommend database technologies and platforms for scalability and performance.
  • Stay informed about emerging trends and technologies in database management. Identify opportunities for process improvements and automation to enhance efficiency and reliability.

Candidate requirements :

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
  • 5+ years of experience in database administration, with a focus on complex database environments.
  • Need experience in Exa CS, Exa CC, ATP.
  • Expertise in database architecture, design, and optimization.
  • Proficiency in SQL and database management systems (e.g., Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL).
  • Experience with high availability and disaster recovery solutions.
  • Strong understanding of database security principles and compliance requirements.
  • Excellent problemsolving, decisionmaking, and communication skills.
