Job Description

The Plant Head would be responsible for but not limited to (Production, Operations, Maintenance, Inventory, Utilities, Support Functions)Operations Management: Overseeing day-to-day operations of the plant, including production, maintenance, quality control, and logistics. Optimizing processes to maximize efficiency and reduce costs while maintaining product quality.Regulatory Compliance: Ensuring adherence to all local laws, regulations, and permits related to the manufacturing operations.Team Leadership: Leading and motivating a diverse team of employees, including supervisors, engineers, technicians, operators and workers.Planning: Developing and implementing plans to achieve production targets and operational goals. Ensuring alignment with overall company objectives and market demands.Resource Allocation: Managing resources such as manpower, equipment, and materials effectively.Health, Safety, and Environment Compliance: Ensuring compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations and standards.Stakeholder Management: Collaborating with internal stakeholders (such as senior management, other departments) to meet company goals. Building and maintaining relationships with external stakeholders, including suppliers and service providers.Financial Management: Managing the plant's budget and expenditures effectively.Crisis Management: Addressing any emergencies or unexpected situations that may impact plant operations promptly and effectively.

The Successful Applicant

Ideal Candidate - 12 to 20 Years of experience in a relevant manufacturing setup. At present the candidate who is a senior Operations/Productions role in a comparable organisation scale will be an ideal fit for the rolePreferences - Water Proofing / Industrial Insulation / Thermal Insulation / Building materialsCandidate with exports exposure will also be a high value add.Candidate should have a long term approach on creating SOPs, laying out processes, formulating strategies, with a knack of being hands on.Excellent communication skills - verbal and written.
