Function :


This person will be responsible for managing and driving results for all areas of plant operations as well as the safe and effective manufacturing of our products. They will be responsible for delivering results to meet the needs of our customers internally and externally. Developing long term strategies around capacities and processes to maintain the goals of the company. He / she will set an organizational structure in place that utilizes Lean Manufacturing processes to direct plant operations consistent with sales forecasts, production schedules, and planned growth.

A key member of the senior management team, reporting to the MD this person is responsible for the efficiency of business, maintaining control of business operations, and securing the functionality of business to drive extensive and sustainable growth. He / she has to look after of manufacturing including Planning, Production, Procurement, Shipping & Receiving, Inventory, Maintenance, Safety, Manufacturing Engineering and Quality. This will require a hands-on leader who has experienced great success in leading a team developing operational excellence in all departments of the plant.


Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for day-to-day leadership and driving the company to achieve and surpass business goals and objectives.
  • Continuously measure the effectiveness of all internal and external processes and provides timely, accurate and complete reports on the operating condition of the company and its related entities.
  • Spearhead the development, communication and implementation of effective operational processes.
  • Support continuous improvement in production through operating procedures, implementation of best
  • Practices and related training through ongoing dialogue with operations personal.
  • Development and utilization of proper metrics for measuring performance in the areas of quality, cost management, capacity management, operational efficiency, on-time delivery, and safety.
  • Work with business leadership to incorporate new processes into the facility, and develop innovative ideas to promote improvement.
  • Work closely with all company departments
  • Ability to advise and make recommendations to the CEO concerning budget, cost, and financial matters, encouraging and directing leadership teams to establishing a measure of performance, increased productivity, quality improvement, and cost controls.
  • Develop and champion business continuity planning within manufacturing.
  • Ensure the company conducts itself with integrity and regulatory compliance, including safety, environmental and document control requirements.


Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical
  • Proven results and progressive management experience with success through team building.
  • 15 Plus years experience in a production environment with min 5 years working as Plant Head/Operation Head.
  • Proven ability to communicate across multiple facilities, both national and international
  • Demonstrated ability in strategic process creation and implementation
  • Management and development of Operational Excellence function throughout a plant
  • Advanced knowledge of lean manufacturing, 5S, and kaizen principles
