As we continue to grow and expand our operations, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Assistant General Manager of Finance to join our leadership team. This role will play a crucial part in steering our financial strategy, ensuring regulatory compliance, and maintaining the overall financial health of the company.
Role & responsibilities
Act as a strategic business partner to the leadership team, providing financial insights and guidance to support decision-making.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align financial strategies with overall business objectives.
Oversee all aspects of financial operations, including Cost Accounting, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, General Ledger, Financial Reporting, Auditing & Internal Control, and Taxation.
Ensure the accuracy and completeness of financial transactions, adhering to industry standards and regulatory requirements.
Implement and maintain internal control mechanisms to track and safeguard the financial health of the company.
Extend support to both Internal and Statutory Audits, facilitating the preparation of financial statements and ensuring successful audit outcomes.
Review and analyze Balance Sheet and Profit & Loss Accounts, ensuring the integrity of all reported financial statements.
Provide timely and accurate financial reports to support management decision-making.
Stay abreast of relevant tax laws and regulations, ensuring compliance with all tax obligations.
Work closely with external tax advisors to optimize tax strategies and minimize financial risks.
Preferred candidate profile
Master' degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field. CA qualification is highly desirable.
Proven experience in a senior financial management role. Must have experience with the real estate or proptech industry.
Strong understanding of financial regulations, compliance, and taxation.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across departments.
Proven ability to lead and motivate a team.
