RESPONSIBILITIES

StrategyContribute to future evolutions of the process mining engineering frameworkReview and adopt technological advances in large scale data management and engineeringPartner with other functions to embed holistic process tracing in systems and operations across the bank to maximize process mining coverage and thereby achieve targeted efficiency outcomesProcess MiningStrong Expertise on performing process mining using standard tools like Celonis, SoftwareAG ARIS or similar process mining toolBuilding a modular process mining data framework to maximize data transformation scalability, reuse, robustness, and performanceTechnical project delivery and ongoing maintenance of data pipelinesMonitor ETL runs and optimize execution speed and robustnessEmbrace professional software development and large-scale data engineering practicesAssimilate unknown process domain and terminology quicklyCorrelate process execution with underlying data traces; locate, explore and quality-assessGuide data scoping and technology toolset selection to streamline project deliveryCollaborate with PM architecture for data quality and business volume validationDevelop data transformation procedures ( PySpark) for large scale (100GB+) process mining data sets based on big data file systems ( Hadoop, Delta Lake)Develop delta update methodology and proceduresValidate information across multiple stakeholders and distil common threads and recommendationsMitigate risks and impediments for project deliveryNurture relationships, build network across key roles in businessReflect on impact of changes in data scope and/or analysis approach and mitigate related risk earlyCommunityContribute to PM community of practice (engineering angle)Run PM engineering training sessionsAdvocate for and role-model process- and data-driven holistic (end-to-end) mindsetPresent process mining engineering approach, lighthouse project briefs and lessons learned in various tech forumsCollaborate with adjunct fields, like automation, simulation, process designRisk ManagementIdentify and raise risks and missing/ineffective controlsEngage process and risk owners to ensure mitigation of raised risks and missing/ineffective controlsGovernanceRefine technical PM delivery methodology and tracking of optimization potentialContribute to the technical PM training curriculumNurture and streamline collaboration model with (business-centric) PM architecture teamCapture lessons learned and derive/design improvements on the PM data transformationBe aware and understand the regulatory framework in which the Group operates, and the regulatory requirements and expectations relevant to the roleRegulatory & Business ConductDisplay exemplary conduct and live by the Group’s Values and Code of Conduct.Take personal responsibility for embedding the highest standards of ethics, including regulatory and business conduct, across Standard Chartered Bank.
