Quality Control Engineer -

  • Fabrication of process heaters, heat exchangers, reactors, columns, tanks, pressure vessels & process equipment Well-versed in understanding fabrication and welding quality and ASME Sec. VIII BPVC
  • Check and ensure the quality of incoming pipes, tubes, flanges etc.
  • Engage with the customer to resolve queries and take approval of QAP/ITP
  • Coordinate with production team and conduct in progress and final internal inspection
  • Inspection at vendors works of shells, fabricated equipment, skids etc.
  • Arrange inspection of the product and handle all third-party inspections till final clearance and dispatch of material
  • Lead quality control of manufactured and bought out mechanical sub-assemblies, documentation, and prepare reports
  • Review of purchase order, drawings, manufacturing procedure, material requirements etc and develop a inspection and test plan (ITP) or QAP
  • Improve on existing and develop new systems and procedures to improve quality with concepts like 5S and Kaizen
  • Assist management in documentation, procedure development to obtain product / systems certification relevant to the industry
  • Ensure compliance of flame proof area products to certificates
  • Ensure compliance to relevant BIS standard Ensure maintenance of calibration of measuring equipment
  • Align with companies' goals and set targets for the quality department
  • Root cause analysis and addressing customer complaints
