The team member will play a crucial role in ensuring the integrity, compliance, and security of our financial operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in vigilance, risk management, and a deep understanding of the regulatory landscape. Responsibilities: Conduct thorough risk assessments to identify potential vulnerabilities and areas of concern within the organization. Develop and implement strategies to mitigate identified risks, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations. Stay abreast of regulatory changes and updates affecting the fintech industry in India. Develop and maintain a comprehensive compliance framework, ensuring that all business activities align with legal and regulatory requirements. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate reporting to regulatory bodies. Implement robust fraud detection mechanisms to safeguard against financial fraud and misconduct. Investigate and analyze suspicious activities, taking appropriate actions to prevent and mitigate fraud risks. Lead internal investigations related to fraud, misconduct, or any other vigilance-related matters. Work closely with cross-functional teams to gather evidence, conduct interviews, and prepare reports on investigation findings. Develop and deliver training programs to educate employees on vigilance, compliance, and ethical conduct. Foster a culture of awareness and adherence to ethical standards and regulatory guidelines. Collaborate with legal, compliance, and other relevant departments to ensure a cohesive approach to risk management and vigilance. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, Finance, Law, or a related field. Master’s degree or relevant professional certifications (e.g., Certified Fraud Examiner) will be an added advantage. Proven experience in a vigilance, risk management, or compliance role within the financial services industry, preferably in a fintech environment. In-depth knowledge of Indian financial regulations and a keen understanding of emerging trends and threats in the payment aggregation/fintech space. Strong analytical, investigative, and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
