Key Responsibilities:Strategy Development:
Assist in identifying, maintaining, and enhancing trading strategies and business opportunities across our trading teams.Performance Analysis:
Analyze trading performance and financial time series data using statistical methods to uncover trends and optimize strategies.Automation:
Help in automating trading strategies through a systematic, data-driven approach, ensuring efficiency and responsiveness to market changes.Financial Modelling:
Assist in constructing, back-testing, and maintaining financial models to support trading activities and decision-making.Collaboration:
Work closely with the technology team to maintain and enhance electronic trading systems.Risk Management:
Contribute to managing risk effectively by learning about risk management procedures and adapting strategies to changing market conditions.
Qualifications:Currently pursuing a Bachelor's, Master's, or Ph.D. degree in a quantitative field such as Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or related disciplines.Experience or coursework in data analysis, market research, and financial modelling is a plus.Proficiency in programming languages, preferably Python or C++.Familiarity with Linux/Unix systems.Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to apply mathematical and statistical techniques to real-world financial data.Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with a passion for teamwork.A strong interest in financial markets, trading, and algorithmic strategies.
