We are seeking an experienced ServiceNow ITOM Consultant with strong expertise in ITOM Discovery and SPM (Strategic Portfolio Management) to design, implement, and optimize ServiceNow solutions that provide end-to-end visibility of IT infrastructure and effective portfolio governance. The role will support accurate CMDB population, service mapping, and portfolio planning aligned with business objectives. Location : INDIARemote) Experience: 8+ years Type : Contract, 12 months, extendable Shift - 6.30 am to 3.30 PM IST (Remote) Required Skills & Experience Hands-on experience with ServiceNow ITOM Discovery . Strong experience with ServiceNow SPM (PPM, Demand, Resource, Agile) . Solid understanding of CMDB, CSDM, and ServiceNow data models . Experience with MID Server configuration , credentials, and network discovery. Proficiency in ServiceNow scripting (Business Rules, Script Includes, Flow Designer). Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills. Key Responsibilities ITOM – Discovery Configure and manage ServiceNow Discovery to identify and map infrastructure components across on-prem, cloud, and hybrid environments. Implement and maintain MID Servers , schedules, credentials, and probes. Ensure accurate CMDB population, normalization, and reconciliation . Troubleshoot discovery issues and improve discovery coverage and success rates. Integrate Discovery with Service Mapping, Event Management, and CMDB Health . Support audits by ensuring CMDB accuracy and compliance. SPM (Strategic Portfolio Management) Configure and support SPM modules including Demand Management, Project Portfolio Management (PPM), Resource Management, and Agile Development. Implement portfolio structures, investment funding models, and roadmaps. Configure workflows, forms, reports, and dashboards for portfolio governance. Support demand intake, prioritization, capacity planning, and financial tracking. Enable executive reporting and portfolio insights aligned with business strategy. Nice-to-Have Skills Experience with ServiceNow Service Mapping, Event Management, or Cloud Discovery . Knowledge of ITIL v4 and portfolio governance frameworks. ServiceNow certifications (ITOM, SPM, CSA, CIS). Experience in Agile / SAFe environments.
