Our mission is to drive innovation and operational excellence across global store products by integrating deployment, testing, performance engineering, labs, and automation. As we expand our capabilities, we are growing our presence in India to include a new focus on Data Analytics and Monitoring. Associates in India will work closely with global teams to mature and scale our services. What you will do: As a Senior Engineer, you will play a critical role in the deployment of POS software to over 4000 stores globally. You will work closely with engineering, operations, and support teams to ensure smooth, reliable, and secure deployments of Oracle Xstore and related systems. Your expertise in retail systems, deployment tools, and troubleshooting will be key to the success of our store technology initiatives. Key Responsibilities: Lead and execute software deployments for Oracle Xstore POS across 4000+ stores. Configure and manage deployment tools such as PPM, Xadmin, and Control-M. Troubleshoot deployment failures and provide root cause analysis and resolution. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure deployment readiness and post-deployment validation. Work with Oracle databases, including performance tuning and script execution. Support and maintain Xcenter and Xoffice environments. Contribute to automation and process improvements for deployment efficiency. Maintain deployment documentation and knowledge base. Provide technical support during store rollouts and upgrades. Ensure compliance with DevSecOps and secure deployment practices. Minimum Qualifications: 2+ years of professional experience in software engineering or deployment, with a focus on retail systems. 2+ years of hands-on experience with Oracle Xstore POS in a production environment. Strong understanding of retail operations and in-store technologies. Experience with deployment tools such as PPM, Xadmin, and Control-M. Proficiency in Oracle Database, including SQL scripting and troubleshooting. Familiarity with Xcenter and Xoffice platforms. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure during critical deployments. Excellent communication and collaboration skills. Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. Experience with DevOps/CI-CD practices and automation tools. Exposure to Azure or other cloud platforms. Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments. Knowledge of monitoring and analytics tools is a plus. Come Discover Different at TJX.
