Role & Responsibilities

  • Design and implement robust backend services and APIs using cloud-native patterns to meet performance, scalability, and reliability targets.
  • Drive architecture decisions for microservices, data storage, and integration layers; optimise for latency, cost, and operational simplicity.
  • Build, own, and improve CI/CD pipelines, deployment automation, and infrastructure-as-code for production systems.
  • Implement containerised workloads and Kubernetes deployments; troubleshoot runtime issues and improve platform resilience.
  • Collaborate with product, QA, and security teams to deliver features end-to-end while ensuring observability, testing, and secure coding practices.
  • Mentor peers, conduct design reviews, and contribute to engineering best practices and documentation.
