Description :

As a Platform Architect, you will be responsible for designing and implementing a robust, scalable, secure and cutting edge technology based healthcare data platform. Your role will involve working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the platform meets industry standards and supports the efficient integration and management of healthcare data.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design and architect a healthcare data platform that adheres to industry standards such as FHIR , OpenEHR, terminology services like SNOMED-CT, LOINC.

- Develop and implement data engineering solutions to ensure efficient data processing, storage, and retrieval using cutting edge technologies like NiFi, Airflow, SPARK etc.

- Collaborate with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to define platform requirements and ensure alignment with business goals.

- Ensure the platform's architecture supports scalability, performance, and security requirements.

- Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for the platform architecture, design decisions, and best practices.

- Lead the design and implementation of well architected, secure , scalable, and compliant cloud solutions aligned with industry best practices and healthcare standards ( HIPAA, HITRUST, GDPR)

- Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends to continuously improve the platform.

- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to engineering teams.

- Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and standards.

Required Qualifications :

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

- Proven experience as a Platform Architect or similar role, for large scale and complex platforms, - experience in the healthcare industry is preferred.

- In-depth knowledge of healthcare data standards such as FHIR and OpenEHR.

- Strong experience in data engineering, including ETL processes, data warehousing, and data modeling.

- Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python.

- Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).

- Strong understanding of database technologies (SQL and NoSQL) and big data frameworks (e.g., Apache NiFi, Airflow, Hadoop, Spark).

- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.

- Experience with machine learning and AI in healthcare.

- Knowledge of healthcare interoperability standards and regulations.

- Experience with DevOps practices and tools.

- Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

Education & Training :

- 12+ years of experience, with at least 3 years of experience as a platform architect

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field from reputed institute .
