Job Description

This is a remote position.

Department: Finance and Accounting
Location: remote, IN

Employment Status: Full-time, permanent, Independent Contractor

Salary: $1500 to $2000 per month

Reporting to: General Manager - Kevin Comerford

 

The perfect candidate will need a solid grasp of ecommerce operations and finance. They should excel in numerical analysis, extracting insights from data, and possess exceptional multitasking and problem-solving skills. This position provides insightful trustworthy data that will help the executive make strategic decisions for the company.

 Job Responsibilities :

  • P&L Reporting / Analytics & Commentary - provide monthly analysis to explain revenue and margin variances and be able to identify key movements and trends in P&L lines and components.

  • Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, helping to ensure they are completed on schedule and comply with company policies and financial regulations, and taking full ownership and accountability for the process.

  • Process Improvement - suggest improvements to increase efficiency and accuracy in financial reporting and other finance and accounting activities.

  • Actively participate in all department discussions to resolve questions or open items.

  • Take ownership in managing all standing projects of the team.

  • Participate in adhoc projects and initiatives as required by the management.


Requirements

Requirements and Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business courses, or any similar field (candidates with substantial relevant experience will be considered, even if they have not completed a degree.)

  • Good understanding of GAAP as well as company accounting policies, procedures, and standards.

  • Attention to detail, accuracy, and confidentiality.

  • Demonstrated ability to plan and accomplish work to ensure critical deadlines are met.

  • Ability to work comfortably with Zoho Analytics and other Zoho applications.

  • Excellent communication skills.

  • Should be good with logical and quantitative abilities to derive information from data.

  • Time management and ability to resolve for issues speedily.

  • Above average in planning, organizing and time management.

  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with the team

 Desirable Software And Application Usage Experience:    

  • Zoho Suite (Analytics, CRM, Books, Projects, etc.), must

  • MS 365 (Excel and Powerpoint), must

  • eCommerce Platform: Magento2, preferred

  • Development Software: JavaScript and API, preferred
