Key Responsibilities:Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports. Ensure alignment with accounting standards and compliance with company policies.Ensure compliance with Goods and Services Tax (GST), Tax Deducted at Source (TDS), and Indian Accounting Standards (IND AS). Oversee the preparation and submission of relevant tax filings and documentation.Assist in the development and management of budgets specific to EdTech projects and initiatives. Monitor financial performance, providing insights and recommendations for improvements.Conduct in-depth financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and cost-saving opportunities. Offer actionable insights to senior management to support strategic decisions.Develop and maintain robust internal controls to protect company assets and ensure the accuracy of financial records.Ensure adherence to financial regulations and industry standards. Assist with audits and ensure all financial practices are up-to-date with EdTech industry requirements.Identify opportunities for process enhancements to increase efficiency and effectiveness in financial operations.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field. A Master’s degree or professional certification.Minimum of 5 years of experience in finance or accounting roles. Experience in the EdTech industry is highly desirable.Strong understanding of financial principles, practices, and regulations, including GST, TDS, and IND AS.Proficiency in Tally and Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel). Experience with EdTech financial systems is a plus.Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present complex financial information clearly and effectively.Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, innovative environment.High level of integrity and attention to detail.
