Job Title:  Restaurant Captain Location:  Jubilee Hills, Hyderabad Salary:  Up to 40,000 per month (Inclusive of all allowances) Job Summary: We are seeking a dynamic and highly motivated Restaurant Captain to lead our front-of-house team and ensure an exceptional dining experience for every guest. The ideal candidate will be a smart, confident, and articulate individual with a passion for hospitality, outstanding communication skills, and a proven ability to manage operations efficiently. Key Responsibilities: Guest Service Excellence: Warmly greet and seat guests, anticipating their needs and ensuring a seamless dining experience. Present menus, provide detailed information on dishes, specials, and beverage pairings with confidence and clarity. Handle guest inquiries, special requests, and feedback promptly and professionally, resolving any issues to ensure complete satisfaction. Maintain an impeccable dining ambiance, ensuring cleanliness, organization, and adherence to service standards. Team Leadership & Mentorship: Supervise, motivate, and guide junior staff (stewards/servers), assigning duties and ensuring efficient workflow. Conduct pre-service briefings, ensuring the team is well-informed about daily specials, reservations, and service protocols. Train new team members on service standards, menu knowledge, and guest interaction techniques. Foster a positive and collaborative work environment, encouraging teamwork and high performance. Operational Management: Oversee table management, reservations, and guest flow to maximize seating efficiency and guest comfort. Accurately process orders, handle billing procedures, and manage cash/card transactions. Coordinate effectively with the kitchen team to ensure timely and accurate food delivery. Monitor inventory of service supplies and equipment, reporting needs to management. Ensure strict adherence to all hygiene, safety, and operational standards. Qualifications & Skills: Education:  Diploma or Degree in Hotel Management is mandatory. Experience:  Minimum 1+ year of proven experience as a Restaurant Captain, Senior Server, or Team Leader in a high-volume, quality dining establishment. Communication:  Exceptional verbal and interpersonal communication skills in English and Hindi  (knowledge of local languages is a plus). Ability to articulate clearly and concisely with guests and team members. Personality:  Smart, confident, and poised demeanor with a natural ability to connect with people. Leadership:  Strong leadership qualities with the ability to inspire, train, and manage a service team. Product Knowledge:  In-depth knowledge of food, beverages, and general restaurant operations. Guest-Centric:  A genuine passion for hospitality and a relentless focus on guest satisfaction. Problem-Solving:  Ability to think quickly on your feet and resolve issues calmly and effectively.
