Automation Test EngineerJob PurposeThe Quality Assurance Engineer monitors the software development process to ensure design quality and adherence to standards. He/She is involved in tasks that include software design, source code development, review and control, configuration management and integration of software. He/She participates in a wide range of quality assurance testing and analyses to ensure that product meets or exceeds specified quality standards and end‐user requirements before release.Requirements:• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or any related STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics) fields.• 5+ years of experience in information technology, specifically in software engineering or testing automation roles and attaining Testing‐related certification, such as ISTQB, CMAP is a plus.• Strong knowledge of mobile platforms (Android and iOS), mobile app development lifecycle, and testing methodologies.• Proficiency in programming languages such as C#, Java, JavaScript (js), and Python will be an added advantage.• Familiarity with test automation frameworks, such as Appium, XCTest, LambdaTest, Webdriver.io, Selenium, JMeter, and Azure DevOps Test Plan, will be an advantage.• Previous experience in API testing using available API testing tools in the market or custom scripts.• create reusable testing scripts that integrate with CI/CD pipelines.• Proficient in writing and automating complex SQL queries and test DB code.• Proficient in collecting, measuring, and monitoring software testing metrics for quality assurance.• Experience with agile/scrum methodologies and working in cross‐functional teams.• solve complex problems and approach challenges from a new perspective while utilizing existing solutions

Job Responsibilities• Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts for mobile and web applications.• Conduct manual testing and automated testing using testing frameworks/tools such as Appium, XCTest, LambdaTest, Selenium or similar.• Perform functional testing, regression testing, performance testing, and compatibility testing to identify and report bugs, defects, and usability issues.• Collaborate with cross‐functional teams including developers, designers, product managers, and stakeholders to ensure product quality and adherence to requirements.• Participate in agile/scrum development processes, daily stand‐ups, sprint planning, and retrospective meetings.• Document and communicate test results, test coverage, and quality metrics to stakeholders.• Continuously improve QA processes, tools, and methodologies to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.• Stay updated with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in mobile app testing.• Maintain testing environments including user accounts, configs and deployments• Work closely with DevOps team to integrate test automation into CI/CD pipelines• Develop Quality Standards• Continuous efforts to explore best practices and applies knowledge of internal or external business issues to improve products and services.
