What You’ll DoAs a Front End Software Engineer in the Front End Platform team, you will play a pivotal role in developing, and maintaining systems that provide valuable insights to customers. Your responsibilities will include:Work closely with Product Management, UX designers, and the larger engineering team to deliver quality user interfaces.Work with other UI engineers and UX to build out a suite of loosely-coupled reusable components.Act as a role model and mentor to other engineers, proactively acting to unblock others and fostering a culture of learning and growthBrainstorm, design and develop new ways to visualize and present complex information to users.Build world-class user experiences.Tackle design and product problems.Take full ownership of projects from design to implementation and deployment.
What You’ll Bring:Knowledge of web frameworks, such as, AngularCreating custom, general use modules and componentsExperience maintaining modern web tooling at an enterprise scale with a deep understanding of how they work – Jest, Webpack, Linting, TranspilingExperience maintaining enterprise npm projects, including private packages, managing dependency upgrades and package auditsCreating configuration, build, and test scripts for Continuous Integration environmentProven track record of leading a project the design phase through deliveryExperience mentoring other developersA sense of urgency and ownership over the productFocus on quality, details, and meeting user needsA love for making things beautiful and a strong understanding of usability and visual design.
