As an early-stage startup currently in beta testing with our early adopters, we're seeking a talented Senior Data Scientist to lead our data science initiatives and drive our AI capabilities forward.
Job Description:
We're looking for an experienced Senior Data Scientist to join our team and spearhead the development of advanced machine learning models and AI algorithms. In this role, you'll be instrumental in shaping our AI-powered hiring platform, creating innovative solutions to complex recruitment Lead the design, development, and implementation of machine learning models and AI algorithms
- Analyze large datasets to extract insights and patterns relevant to the hiring process
- Develop predictive models to enhance candidate matching and selection
- Create and implement natural language processing (NLP) solutions for resume parsing and job description analysis
- Collaborate with engineering and product teams to integrate AI models into our platform
- Conduct A/B tests and experiments to continuously improve model performance
- Develop and maintain data pipelines for model training and deployment
- Stay current with the latest advancements in AI and machine learning, particularly in areas relevant to HR and recruitment
- Mentor junior data scientists and contribute to building a strong data science culture
- Communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
- Contribute to the company's intellectual property through research and Ph.D. or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, or a related field
- 4+ years of experience in applied data science and machine learning
- Strong programming skills in Python, R, or similar languages
- Expertise in machine learning libraries and frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn)
- Experience with big data technologies (e.g., Spark, Hadoop)
- Proficiency in SQL and experience with both relational and NoSQL databases
- Strong background in statistics and experimental design
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) for machine learning workflows
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to translate business problems into data science solutions
- Strong communication skills and ability to present complex findings to diverse audiences
Preferred Qualifications :
- Experience in the HR tech or recruitment industry
- Familiarity with deep learning and neural network architectures
- Knowledge of MLOps practices and tools
- Experience with recommendation systems and/or matching algorithms
- Publications in peer-reviewed journals or conferences
- Experience with fairness and bias mitigation in AI systems
- Familiarity with data privacy regulations and ethical AI practices
