Job Description :

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Data Scientist with 5 to 7 years of expertise in leveraging data to drive business insights. The ideal candidate will have strong proficiency in statistical modeling, machine learning, and programming languages like Python or R. Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS will be an added advantage. The candidate should be capable of building predictive models to support business decisions around forecasting, pricing, and product recommendations.

Key Responsibilities :

- Analyze large datasets to derive actionable insights and drive strategic decision-making.

- Develop and implement statistical models, including forecasting and predictive analytics.

- Build pricing models and product recommendation systems (e.g., upselling and cross-selling).

- Work independently to design, execute, and deliver machine learning models for real-world business problems.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business problems into data-driven solutions.

- Communicate complex technical findings clearly and effectively to stakeholders.


Key Requirements :

- 5 to 7 years of experience as a Data Scientist.

- Proficient in Python or R, with the ability to write clean, maintainable code.

- Strong experience with statistical modeling and machine learning techniques.

- Knowledge and hands-on experience with AWS or other cloud platforms (preferred).

- Experience in forecasting models, pricing analytics, and product recommendation systems (e.g., upselling).

- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.

Preferred Qualifications :

- Prior experience in e-commerce, retail, or related industries.

- Familiarity with big data technologies and data engineering concepts.

- Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
