Job Summary :


We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Data Quality Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and reliability of our data across various systems. You will work closely with data engineers, data scientists, and other stakeholders to implement data quality processes and address data quality issues.


Key Responsibilities :


Data Quality Assessment :


- Develop and implement data quality frameworks, including data profiling, cleansing, and validation processes.


- Design and execute data quality tests and evaluations to identify and resolve data discrepancies and anomalies.


Data Monitoring :


- Monitor and maintain data quality metrics and dashboards to provide ongoing visibility into data health.


- Establish data quality rules and standards in collaboration with business and technical teams.


Issue Resolution :


- Investigate and troubleshoot data quality issues, including root cause analysis and resolution.


- Work with data engineering teams to design and deploy data correction and Reporting :


- Document data quality processes, methodologies, and best practices.


- Generate regular reports on data quality metrics, trends, and issues.


Qualifications :


- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science


- Proven 4-7 years of experience in data quality management, data engineering, or a related role.


- Strong understanding of data quality principles, data profiling, and data cleansing techniques.


- Proficiency in SQL, spark, python and experience with data querying and manipulation.


- Familiarity with data quality tools and platforms (e.g., Talend, Informatica, DataRobot).


- Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) is a plus.


- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.


- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
