Security Lead - Vapi   POSITION PURPOSE Responsible for all security related aspects for Bayer Vapi Pvt Ltd. He will also be responsible for internal/ external stakeholder alignment on Site Security and its related matters. ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES Manage Security and Vigilance at site level through contract security as per Corporate Security Guidelines. Implementation and sustenance of Corporate Global Security policy and regional security procedures relating to site operations Acts as a security contact person for the Site Manager and the Site Management Team Control & coordinate all entry/exits, security functions and maintain effective access control at site to prevent pilferages/ thefts Investigations on issues related to theft, pilferage, sabotage etc. Collaboration with key stakeholders (internal & external) to manage expectations on all security related matters. Establish effective networking with police and local administration Knowledge of using security gadgets like CCTV, Access Control, Visitor Management System, Flap Barriers, UVSS, ANPR systems etc. Using latest technology in enhancing the overall security management system at site. Maintain all documentation on security related matters including returnable and non returnable gate passes. Emergency response plan to mitigate and effectively handle any site related emergencies. Design, plan and conduct security training programs for all site personnel Effective control and coordination on men, material and vehicle movement Develops and maintains the Site Security Concept (as applicable) KEY WORKING RELATIONS: Collaboration and Alignment with: Internal Director & Site Manager Management Committee members Enabling Functions team Cross functional heads/team Corporate Security External Vendors Networking with local Law Enforcement related to security Local Governmental bodies WHO YOU ARE: Graduate in any discipline. Experience in handling security function preferrable with Ex Defense background. Minimum 10 years of experience in handling Plant Security at Managerial Level Exposure to electronic surveillance equipment like CCTV, Access Control, Visitor Management, Material Movement etc preferred Basic IT skills with a working knowledge of the range of MS Office packages and knowledge of electronic security systems. Networking with Law Enforcement agencies and neighboring industries. Courage, honesty and integrity with strong ethical and moral beliefs. Self-initiator and go getter. Risk taking ability with right security bent of mind. Good communication and analytical skills. Ability to lead from the front and follow. Collaborative and effective team player.
