The Manager 220k V Electrical Systems will oversee the design, execution, and commissioning of high voltage 220k V transformer, substation and transmission line projects associated with large-scale BESS and solar power plants. This role ensures technical excellence, compliance with grid codes, timely project delivery, and effective coordination across teams and stakeholders. Key Responsibilities: Lead and manage all activities related to the design, engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning of 220k V substations, transformer and transmission lines for solar power projects. Review and approve detailed engineering designs, specifications, and drawings of 220k V electrical systems including switchgear, transformers, protection systems, and control panels. Ensure compliance with national and international electrical standards (IEC, IS, IEEE) and grid code requirements. Coordinate with utilities, regulatory bodies, and clients for necessary approvals, inspections, and interface management. Drive project planning, resource allocation, risk management, and budget control for 220k V electrical scope. Monitor construction progress, quality assurance, and safety compliance at project sites. Lead troubleshooting, testing, commissioning, and energization activities of 220k V systems. Mentor and develop engineering and site teams to build technical capability and maintain high-performance standards. Collaborate closely with civil, mechanical, procurement, and commercial teams to ensure seamless project delivery. Prepare and present technical reports, project status updates, and risk mitigation plans to senior management and clients. Stay updated with emerging technologies, industry trends, and regulatory changes affecting high voltage electrical systems in solar EPC projects. Qualifications: Bachelors or Masters Degree in Electrical Engineering. Minimum 5 years of experience in high voltage (220k V and above) electrical system design and project management, preferably in solar EPC, power transmission, or utility sectors. Strong technical expertise in 220k V substations, switchgear, protection & control systems, transformers, and power system studies. Proven experience managing large-scale EPC projects with multiple stakeholders. Ability to work under pressure and deliver results within tight deadlines.
