URL: Position ObjectiveWe are looking for an experienced Lead AI/ML Engineer with a strong background in web development to drive the design, development, and deployment of intelligent applications. The ideal candidate will lead AI/ML initiatives, mentor teams, and integrate AI models into scalable web platforms. As a Lead Engineer, you will play an important role in system architecture, design, development and ensuring the products meet high quality standards and guiding other development team members.Responsibilities (KRAs / deliverables / job expectations)Lead the development and integration of AI/ML models into web applications.Architect and optimize AI-driven web solutions using frameworks like Tensor Flow, Py Torch, Scikit-learn etc.Oversee the deployment of AI models using cloud services (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define AI strategies and implementation.Guide the development of scalable web applications using Angular, C#, Nest JS etc.Ensure efficient data processing and model deployment in production environments.Optimize AI models for performance, accuracy, and scalability.Stay updated with the latest AI/ML trends and web development technologies.Mentor junior engineers and foster a culture of innovation.Critical Success factors (critical / high impact aspects of role)Strong expertise in machine learning algorithms and deep learning frameworks.Proficiency in Python, Java Script, and web development frameworks.Experience with RESTful APIs, cloud computing, and database management.Familiarity with MLOps tools for automating machine learning workflows.Understanding of frontend and backend development for AI-powered applications.Ability to work with large datasets and optimize AI models for production.Academic qualificationBachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, AI, or related fields.Experience (exposure)10+ years of overall Software development experience and 6+ years of experience in AI/ML software development.Key attributes (critical functional competencies)Experience in AI-driven web applications, edge devices and cloud-based AI services.Experience in the healthcare industry and RTLS is desirable.Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in cross-functional teams.Competencies (fundamental skills and attitudes)Cross-functional team collaborationAccountabilityOwnershipStrong work ethic, self-motivated, team player with strong interpersonal skills.Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
