TheRole: Manager Finance atWooqer
Asan Manager Accounting you will be reporting directly to the VPFinance. You will be handson with daily accounting audit localcompliance requirements along with helping to scale the team andmanaging external service provider relationships. You will alsoplay an important leadership role in the Accounting organizationaround change management technical advice improving processesscaling accounting company infrastructure andoperations.
Whatyoulldo:
Oversee the daily accounting operations including execution ofoperational accounting policy payroll cash management and generalledgerresponsibilities.
Implementing and improving processes/systems to grow the accountingfunction and implement internal audit systems to safeguard thecompany
Keep a track of all employee expenses and reimbursements anddischarge all vendor payments and be an ethical partner to our longstandingvendors.
Provide creative alternatives and recommendations to reduce costsand improve financialperformance.
Keep Wooqer tax & regulatory compliant in allrespect
Monitor and analyze accounting data and produce financial reportsorstatements
Establish and enforce proper accounting methods policies andprinciples
Track and determine financial status by analyzing actual results incomparison withforecasts.
Coordinate and complete annualaudits
Improve systems and procedures and initiate correctiveactions
Whatyoullneed:
35 years of working experience as a Finance Manager Sr. accountantor accounts executive preferably in a SaaSbusiness.
Proximity to our office in Bellandur Bangalore to save you fromtravelfatigue
Willingness to work from our office 5 days aweek
A minimum BCom degree inCommerce.
Proven knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting principles practicesstandards laws and regulations. Some exposure to US Business is anaddedadvantage.
Handson with Tally ERP or equivalentERPs.
Anoutgoing personality with good written and spokenEnglish
Aneye for detail &accuracy
Exceptional Microsoft Excel skills and understanding of databasesMicrosoft Office and financial softwareapplications
Outstanding presentation reporting and communicationskills
Proven knowledge of financial forecasting and diagnosis corporatefinance and information analysis and ability to handle anaudit

As aVP Finance Kailash is leading the finance legal compliance& admin team and is striving to unlock value for allstakeholders. Kailash is a versatile professional with anentrepreneurial mindset with diverse experience in financial andbusiness environments. Prior to Wooqer Kailash led a similar roleat Hashedin By Deloitte.
