ShopDeck is a leading company in the None industry, dedicated to democratizing D2C for every merchant who sells online. Our platform makes D2C commerce as easy as selling on marketplaces, empowering sellers with a storefront, pricing, shipping, and marketing tools to achieve net profitability. In less than 10 months since our launch, sellers have successfully sold products worth over $30M annually.
Role and Responsibilities :
- The SDE -3/Lead Backend at ShopDeck will have the unique opportunity to solely own and build a product from scratch.
- In collaboration with the business team, you will understand the business requirements and define the technical roadmap. Your key responsibilities will include working on complex architectural problems and identifying potential system loopholes that could arise in the future, actively seeking solutions along with other stakeholders.
Candidate Qualifications :
- We are looking for candidates with at least 5+ years of experience in the industry, specifically in solving complex problems from scratch.
- The ideal candidate should have a proven ability to build scalable, sustainable, reliable, and secure products based on their past experience, showcasing their capability to independently lead projects.
- Additionally, the candidate should possess the ability to introduce new practices, architectural choices, and initiatives to strengthen the overall tech stack.
- Ownership of the tech roadmap for systems and infrastructure is also expected.
