Job Description :
Function : Software Engineering - Backend Development, Full-Stack Development, Other Software Development Node.js Microservices React.js MongoDB AWS
As the Software Development Engineer III at Alt Mobility, you will be part of our core engineering team and contribute directly to the development of the product & ensure the smooth functioning, and operation of the Fleet OS, leveraging your expertise in software engineering.
This role requires a deep understanding of core software engineering principles and a passion for creating a direct impact on our target audiences.
You will play a pivotal role in driving the core product of the business.
Responsibilities :
- Develop, implement, and maintain efficient and scalable backend solutions using JavaScript technologies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement backend architecture for our applications.
- Create and maintain APIs and web services for real-time data applications.
- Ensure the security, performance, and reliability of the backend system.
- Optimize code and database queries for maximum efficiency.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues as they arise.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies.
- Mentor and provide guidance to junior developers when necessary.
Requirements :
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- 4+ years of professional experience as a JavaScript Backend Developer.
- Proficiency in the MERN (MongoDB, Express.js, React, Node.js ) stack.
- Experience working on real-time data applications.
- Strong knowledge of multiple JavaScript technologies and third-party packages.
- Solid understanding of backend development principles and best practices.
- Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git).
- Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Work with message queues, such as RabbitMQ, to handle asynchronous tasks efficiently.
- Utilize both SQL and NoSQL databases, including PostgreSQL and MongoDB, for data storage and retrieval.
- Implement caching strategies using technologies like Redis.
- Experience with cloud-based technologies (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, etc.).
- Knowledge of containerization and orchestration tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
- Familiarity with server-less architecture.
- Previous experience with microservices architecture.
- Contributions to open-source projects or a strong portfolio of personal projects.
