Role summary: Our client company is looking for a Packaging Designer with 3+ years of experience who with a minimum of 3 years of experience, you will play a pivotal role in the conceptualization, design, and management of printed packaging, ensuring compliance with brand guidelines and international standards. Your responsibilities include translating concepts into quick sketches and CAD visualizations, delivering Placement Prints, executing brand-compliant graphics, and handling pre-flight formatting. Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, extensive Mac knowledge, and a thorough understanding of pre-flight and artwork development are essential. The role demands an independent worker with superior attention to detail, excellent project management skills, and the ability to think creatively on the fly. As a team player with strong communication skills, you will contribute to research and development, adapt existing designs, and handle multiple projects with a positive, can-do attitude.
Key Responsibilities:
Convey concepts with quick sketches (fast and fluid), and CAD visualization
Use retail environment awareness and knowledge of specifications and guidelines
Conceptualization, design and management of the production of printed packaging
Delivery of Placement Prints
Submit Finished Art
Yardage/Pattern repeats
Research and development of new concepts and adaptation of existing designs
Execute brand compliant packaging graphics from approved style guides with guidance from Art Director (includes foreign language translation when required), Adding Bar codes, proofing and QC
Pre-flight formatting
Create mock-ups
Skills & Experience:
Minimum 3 years of experience in packaging design
Extensive Mac knowledge including Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign), Acrobat
Thorough understanding of Pre-flight and Artwork development with printing knowledge of different techniques
Independent worker who produces consistent, high-quality designs
Superior attention to detail including spelling, grammar, file naming, etc.
Good communication skills
Proven project management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects at once
Ability to think creatively and problem-solve on the fly
Strong adherence to deadlines with minimal supervision
Must be a team player with a positive, can-do attitude; someone who is able to shift gears quickly.
Must have Skills:

Adobe Photoshop
Artwork Development
Visualization and design
Problem Solving
Multi-tasking Knowledge of Printing and other techniques
Skills will be tested for software and multiple parameters via a test.
