The Consultant position at Universal Consulting entails being a key member of the strategy consulting team, responsible for leading client projects and providing guidance to team members.The role involves working closely with clients, analysing data, synthesising findings, creating executive presentations and demonstrating strong analytical and writing skills.Preferred location Mumbai.Core Responsibilities:Lead multiple workstreams and project teams.Set engagement objectives and scope, develop work plans, and coordinate activities between work streams.Gather, analyse, and interpret quantitative and qualitative data to develop strategic recommendations.Perform strategic, operational, and financial analyses to provide practical recommendations to clients.Synthesize various solutions to meet specific client requirements and report on outputs.Collaborate with team members to derive trends, conclusions, and recommendations based on data and analyses.Create client-ready presentations and deliver effective business presentations.Design deliverable content to reflect the engagement case and improve deliverable quality.Drive the implementation of recommendations.Develop and maintain strong working relationships with project and client teams.Experience and Core Skills:3+ years of experience in management consulting or a related industry.Good functional knowledge, including strategy, business development, manufacturing, supply chain, project management, marketing, and sales.Strong written and verbal communication skills for client interviews, workshops, and presenting recommendations.Analytical thinking and the ability to perform detailed quantitative analysis and research.Logical structuring and a structured approach to problem-solving.Ability to work effectively with individuals at all levels within an organisation. Qualifications:Engineering and Masters, preferably with an MBA.
