Job Description:

  • As a Certified SAFe Agile Release Train Engineer thesuccessful candidate will play a critical role in facilitating theAgile Release Train (ART) processes and execution ensuringalignment coordination and delivery across multiple Agile teams.They will serve as a servant leader and coach to the ART enablingefficient delivery of value while fostering a culture ofcollaboration transparency and continuous improvement.

KeyResponsibilities:

  • Leadsand facilitates the ART processes and ceremonies including ProgramIncrement (PI) Planning System Demos Inspect and Adapt workshopsand Scrum of Scrums.
  • Collaborates with ProductManagement Product Owners Scrum Masters and Agile teams to defineprioritize and refine the Program Backlog.
  • Fosters a collaborative culture within the ART promotingeffective communication shared understanding and alignment towardscommon goals.
  • Coaches and mentors Agile teamsScrum Masters and Product Owners on SAFe principles practices andceremonies.
  • Identifies and addressesimpediments dependencies and risks that may impact the ARTs abilityto deliver value.
  • Drives continuousimprovement initiatives within the ART leveraging LeanAgileprinciples and tools to enhance productivity quality andpredictability.
  • Facilitates effectivecoordination and integration with other ARTs Solution Trains andexternal stakeholders as necessary.
  • Providesvisibility into the ARTs progress metrics and health tostakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • Collaborates with other team members to drive alignmentand consistency across the organization.
  • Stayscurrent with industry trends best practices and emergingtechnologies related to Agile and SAFe frameworks.

Qualifications:

  • SAFe Agile Release Train Engineer (RTE) certification isrequired.
  • Bachelors degree in Computer ScienceEngineering Business or related field preferred.
  • Proven experience (3 years) serving as a Release TrainEngineer or similar role in an Agile environment.
  • Strong understanding of Agile principles andmethodologies particularly in the context of largescale Agiletransformations.
  • Excellent facilitationcommunication and interpersonal skills with the ability toinfluence and inspire teams towards a common goal.
  • Experience working with distributed teams andstakeholders in different geographical locations.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead change initiatives and drivecontinuous improvement efforts.
  • Proficiency inAgile project management tools such as Jira or similarplatforms.
  • Strong analytical andproblemsolving skills with the ability to navigate complex andambiguous situations effectively.
  • Experiencewith LeanAgile principles DevOps practices and other relatedframeworks is a plus.
