This role is responsible for end-to-end quality delivery of the connected car solutions.a2. This role is manages testing, validations, quality gate deliverables for both software & hardware stack.b1. This role defines Standards & Carryover Strategy of the EE modules, submodules, and drives it's Engineering, aligned to the QCT of the projects.b2. This is critical role for engineering delivery & sign-offs in large scale projects like connected cars.Dimensions of the positionNon-Financial :- 1- 4 TML resourcesFinancial :- -- NAPersonal ProfileEducation Engineering Graduate in Electrical and ElectronicsSecondary: Compute science/Electrical Engineering/Mechanical EngineeringSkills/Competencies 1) Product Development2) Innovation3) Customer Centricity4) Driving Execution5) People Management6) Digital validation & automation7) Software Development8) Agile Process9) Connected car / IoT10) DevOps, Cloud TechnologiesRelevant Experience :1) 12+ years of experience in domain of Connected Car system development & delivery2) Knowledge of Connected car features, hardware, software requirements, Validation test cases.3) Knowledge of cloud platforms, network technologies & communication protocols,4) Knowledge of wireless interfaces and testing like Bluetooth, WiFi, 4G/5G, etc.5) Knowledge of Agile project management frameworks.6) Knowledge of establishing automated test strategy, digital validation, end-to-end product validation and delivery.7) Knowledge of planning and execution of large projects with multiple stakeholders.8) Knowledge of automotive process like FMEA, Functional Safety, Cybersecurity, ASPICE, etc.9) Knowledge of establish end-to-end testing processes.10) Knowledge of ECU ‘V’ cycle development from concept to production from an OEM perspective.11) Experience of at least 2 full product development cycles12) Experience of new technology integration / development13) Experience of team management

Key Responsibilities:; Key Responsibility & Key Tasks Measures1 Innovation and Technology management:• Keep abreast with Technology trends and relevant technology providers• Map feasibility of application of new technologies over a ‘time horizon’ and propose a technology roadmap• Develop technologies as per approved roadmap• Execute and document milestones of TCDS processTCDS (Technology creation & development system ) milestones cleared as per plan2 Develop Capability:• Create short and medium term engineering capability plans to achieve functional objectives• Formulate component/aggregate strategy• Formulate guidelines and best practices for the aggregate based on the learnings from the projects (TGR & TGW).• Create & update foundation DFMEAs for the aggregate• Meeting Targets in the BSC3 Product Development• Drive the engineering, development, testing & validation of the sub modules• Review progress of project and review and approve DMLs to meet the best practices for CoC• Implement best practices to find and solve problems in the project.• Drive VAVE for their aggregates as per the yearly targets.• Guide and Review cost and weight effective solutions and propose implementation in the project• Participate in resolution of escalated issues by VMTL & Project Leader• Support delivery of the aggregates as per the project timeline, within the defined cost and quality targets4 People Management• Cascade of BSC targets to individual KRA’s.• Monitor performance and provide individual feedback to direct and wherever necessary indirect reports.• Capture the current and future skills and competency requirements for all the VE roles.• Monitor and take corrective measures to bridge gaps in skills and competencies for the department.• Ensure Communication cascade within the team. • Communication Meetings• Compliance to LOOP process• Skills and Competency Matrix• Attrition
