What you'll do
- Lead end-to-end development of cloud-connected embedded products (IoT devices, gateways, data loggers).
- Architect and optimize Linux-based systems (Debian/Yocto/Raspbian), including kernel customization and performance tuning.
- Ship robust connectivity stacks (GSM, Wi-Fi, BLE) and RTOS-based firmware.
- Integrate securely with AWS/GCP services for device management, telemetry, OTA, and analytics.
- Drive intuitive embedded UIs and ensure smooth HW/SW co-design with our hardware team.
- Build, mentor, and scale a team of 10+ engineers; raise the bar on code quality, reviews, CI/CD, and documentation.
What you'll bring
- Strong hands-on coding in
C/C++
, plus proficiency in
Python
and/or
Go
. - Deep Linux chops (kernel, device drivers, BSPs, Yocto/Raspbian), scripting with
Bash/Shell
, and
RTOS
experience. - Firmware experience across
GSM, Wi-Fi, BLE
and common IoT protocols (MQTT/HTTP). - Cloud integration on
AWS
and/or
GCP
for edge/IoT workloads. - Experience building
embedded UIs
and a solid understanding of
embedded hardware
. - Proven team leadership, stakeholder communication, and delivery ownership.
Nice to have:
OTA frameworks, secure boot/TPM, containers at the edge, devops for firmware (CI, HW-in-the-loop), performance profiling, and board bring-up.
