We are looking for Engineering Manager responsible for leading and managing a team of Application and Data engineers to design, implement, and maintain robust Application and infrastructure.This role involves overseeing the development and optimization of Application and data architectures, ensuring quality and integrity, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to support the organization's cloud based initiatives
Key SkillsProven track record of 12 + years of hands-on experience in designing, developing & maintaining large scale, distributed cloud based applicationsGood programming skills in languages such as .Net, C#, Java and/or PythonSolid experience in Cloud based technologies such as MVC, AWS, Redshift, RestAPI, Micro services, WCF, SQL, WinForms, React.Js, CI/CDIn-depth knowledge of data processing technologies such as Data warehouseExtensive collaborative experience working in a dynamic global matrix organization.Familiarity with data modelling, ETL processes, and data integration techniques will be a plusProven ability to coach and mentor teams to success.Passionate about technology and problem-solving.Demonstrated interpersonal and leadership skills, including an ability to thrive in a team based.Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and projects across several developments.Ability to effectively address shifting priorities and demands in a deadline-driven.Outstanding analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshootingProven project management skills in the context of software· Previous experience in the healthcare IT industry is desired, but not requiredPrimary ResponsibilitiesRecruitment effort and hiring of R&D Team-members. Conduct technical, behaviour, and situational interviews as necessary for positions across the R&D organizationEncourage professional development, and ensure the presence of appropriate training initiatives, within the development teamAssist in removing or improving organizational impediments to flow and value deliveryProvide guidance and clarification regarding the Agile Mindset and Scrum PracticesProvide guidance for all phases of SDLC implementation including design, coding, testing, and analysis of programs and applicationsPromote continued learning and self-organizationDevelop team members through Intent-Based Leadership, guiding them through the different levels of autonomy by growing their competency and clarity of organizational visionOversee the project status reporting processMonitor development projects to ensure adherence to established objectives, timelines, and best practicesEnsure compliance with all applicable regulatory requirementsCollaborate with internal stakeholders to determine strategic software developmentConduct performance appraisals, and provide coaching and mentoring, to softwareQualificationsBachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.Proven experience in data engineering, with at least 4+ years in a managerial or leadership role.NextGen Healthcare is an equal opportunity employer.
