Own a wide portfolio of our Platform Business, India. Primary focus will be on top talent attraction, retention, development, and engagement. Talent Acquisition, Business HR, HR Operations & Leaning will report in apart from relevant COE functions connected to these domains.
Role Overview: It involves independently handling litigation matters, IPR management, drafting, vetting & negotiation of contracts and providing legal support on complex transactions across jurisdictions.
Key Responsibilities:
International Litigation Management:
Independently handle and coordinate cross-border litigation matters across jurisdictions (e.g., Brazil, Ireland, Spain etc.).
Manage external counsel, and provide periodic updates to internal stakeholders.
Contract Drafting Review and Negotiation (International & Domestic):
Draft, review, and negotiate contracts with Travel buyers and suppliers across various jurisdiction, vendor agreements, MOUs, SSA, SPA, etc in compliance with local and foreign laws.
Accurately capture complex multi-jurisdictional transactions into clear, concise contractual language.
Intellectual Property Rights (IPR):
Management of IPR processes and tools across multiple geographies.
Coordinate with global business teams and external advisors for registration and enforcement of trademarks and related matters.
Regulatory Compliance (International):
Assist in interpreting and ensuring compliance with international legal and regulatory requirements.
Support legal due diligence and compliance processes in cross-border business operations.
Legal Advisory:
Provide practical legal advice to business teams on multi-country legal and commercial issues.
Assist in developing and updating legal SOPs, and templates with a global perspective.
Given the volume of work, nature of ongoing matters and knowledge dependencies, it is important to close this position at the earliest to ensure a smooth transition and business continuity.
