Work you’ll do

The practitioner playing PMO role is expected to manage the Implementation Projects/programs and Chair the Governance Cadences at various levels using Project management tools and in Agile methodology and frameworks. The candidate is expected to have project/program management experience, extremely good communication, presentation skills. This role will consist of activities required to champion change at a Line of Business or Organization level and would require following skills and competencies:

Roles and Responsibilities

• Conduct weekly, fortnightly, and monthly cadences.

• Setting up meetings, sharing MOMs and Charing the Governance calls.

• Creating project Plans and tracking various activities of implementation projects.

• Creating Dashboard and ppts for progress of the project/program with Senior stakeholders.

• Establishing Project Governance

• Demand Management and Resourcing

• Budgeting and Forecasting

• Onboarding and offboarding activities

• Optimizing resource utilization

• Stakeholder mapping and analysis

• Standardizing processes across projects

• Defining templates for Project deliverables

• Preparing MIS reports and Status reports

• Knowledge management and organizing trainings.

• Document Management

• Risk and Issue tracking

• Facilitating team collaboration and communication

• Escalating issues to Leadership in a timely manner Stakeholder management Skills Required

Skills Required

• Total 4 to 6 years’ work experience of which 3 years has been specifically on PMO in BFSI implementation/transformation projects.

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering/Management from reputed institutions

• Consulting Background preferred.

• Experience in Banking, Financial Services, and Insurance industry

• Good working knowledge in JIRA, Confluence and Power BI reports.

• Excellent Power point and Excel skills.

• Outstanding Communication skills, both written and verbal

• Extremely good in Microsoft Excel - Representation of graphs, pivots and excel analytics.

• Experience in Client Facing roles.

• Understanding of Project management methodologies and models (Waterfall and Agile)

• Attention to detail.

• Negotiation skills & Critical Thinking
