Job DescriptionWe are seeking a talented and innovative Head Chef to lead our culinary team. You will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our kitchen operations, creating exceptional dining experiences, and showcasing the rich flavors of Indian cuisine while incorporating modern culinary techniques. Lead and inspire a dynamic kitchen team, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment. Develop and implement new menu items that reflect local flavors and seasonal ingredients. Ensure consistent food quality and presentation across all dishes. Manage kitchen operations, including inventory, food cost control, and adherence to food safety standards. Collaborate with the management team to achieve restaurant goals and enhance customer satisfaction. Train and mentor kitchen staff to maintain high standards of culinary excellence. Oversee menu planning, food preparation, and kitchen organization. Work closely with local suppliers to source high-quality, fresh ingredients. Participate in culinary events and promotions to enhance the restaurant's reputation. Continuously stay updated on culinary trends and incorporate them into menu offerings. QualificationsMinimum 5 years of experience in managing food production & culinary operations. Diploma from a reputable Hospitality Management / Culinary school preferred. Proven track record of leading and managing large kitchen teams effectively. Extensive knowledge of Indian cuisine, with a focus on Rajasthani specialties. Strong creative skills in menu development and food presentation. Additional certification(s) in Food & Beverage will be an advantage. Demonstrated ability to meet budget goals and control food. Proficiency in kitchen management software and inventory control systems. Valid food safety and hygiene certifications. Fluency in English and Hindi; knowledge of additional languages will be an advantage. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle high-pressure situations. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Passion for culinary innovation and staying current with industry trends.
