Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Video Editor, located in Bengaluru. The Video Editor will be responsible for assembling recorded footage into a finished project that matches the director's vision and is suitable for broadcasting. Daily tasks include reviewing shooting scripts, editing raw footage, adding effects and ensuring logical sequencing and smooth running. The role also entails collaborating with the creative team to ensure cohesive storytelling and maintaining a continuous workflow.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, and After Effects
- Skills in color grading, sound editing, and adding transitions, effects, and animations
- Strong understanding of video formats, codecs, and converting and exporting for various platforms
- Experience in storytelling, script reading, and editing to ensure cohesive and engaging content
- Excellent attention to detail and a keen eye for visual storytelling
- Ability to work collaboratively with a creative team and independently
- Strong organizational and time management skills to meet deadlines
- Bachelor's degree in Film Studies, Cinematography, or related field is a plus
