Job Description

  • We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Service IT Delivery Manager to oversee the delivery and management of multiple commercial applications deployed across several locations in Europe. These applications support our steel production business and require 24/7 availability. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the successful implementation, maintenance, and support of IT services, while aligning with business objectives and maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction.


Skills

  • Experience in working with PSI Metals solutions
  • Understand the logical business processes and the impact of the defined information flows between different systems. Configuration/ Customization and development of this information inside a commercial MES Solution
  • Combine other solutions like SAP or customized technologies together with a state-of-the-Art MES solution
  • Extensive knowledge in cross-functional migration and integration
  • Knowledge of Industry best practices
  • Extensive knowledge in Industry verticals, especially steel / metal Industry
  • Strong project management skills, with experience using project management tools and methodologies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks and projects.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Knowledge of ITIL or other IT service management frameworks.
  • Familiarity with application development and deployment processes.
  • Understanding of compliance and security standards.
  • Able to act under pre


Roles and Responsibilities

  • Service Delivery Management : Oversee the end-to-end delivery of IT MES services for multiple applications, ensuring they meet business requirements and service level agreements (SLAs).Roll out Service Management for a commercial MES Product line into an existing heterogeneous IT and IT-Service Landscape. The rollout will be executed in waves in several projects, cross worldwide locations, first starting in Europe.
  • Co-create / validate Statement of work, create Contractual agreements along with our procurement and legal team.
  • Be versatile to manage service projects as technical lead, validate design and other project documents created, Provide Technical guidance and assistance in resolving technical issues
  • Stakeholder Management: Act as the primary point of contact for stakeholders, including business units, vendors, and IT teams, to ensure effective communication and collaboration. Present the business value of our service solutions and demonstrate the system in line with the client’s requirements for the requested service management.
  • Understand and clearly define the input required to create cost estimates, working with the delivery centre to finalize cost estimates and optimize this to bring the best value for our client’s money.
  • Travel as per business requirements to European and african countries.

Project Management: Lead and manage IT service projects related to application deployment, and upgrades, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and within budget.

Performance Monitoring: Monitor and report on the performance of IT services and applications, identifying areas for improvement and implementing necessary changes.

Incident and Problem Management: Manage and resolve incidents and problems related to IT services, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.

Change Management: Oversee the change management process for IT services, ensuring changes are implemented smoothly and with minimal risk.

Resource Management: Allocate and manage resources effectively to ensure the successful delivery of IT services and projects.

Compliance and Security: Ensure IT services and applications comply with relevant regulations, standards, and security policies.

Continuous Improvement: Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the quality and efficiency of IT services.


Domain Expertise

ServiceNow as selected Service Management Tool

Module Proficiency: Familiarity with key ServiceNow modules, including Incident Management, Problem Management, Change Management, Request Management, and Release Management.

ITIL Framework: Strong working knowledge of ITIL processes and how they are implemented within ServiceNow.

Knowledge Management: Proficiency in using ServiceNow’s Knowledge Management capabilities to create, manage, and utilize knowledge articles effectively.

Automation: Experience with automating routine tasks and processes within ServiceNow to improve efficiency and reduce manual effort.

Resilience: Demonstrates the ability to remain calm and composed under pressure, effectively managing stress and maintaining focus on critical tasks.

Decision-Making: Capable of making sound decisions quickly and efficiently, even in high-pressure situations, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.

Currently remote with a potential of hybrid work from office from Pune, Noida, Kolkata or Surat.

Will be required to go for domestic / international travel depending on the nature of projects milestone / business need
