Job Summary
The Senior ServiceNow Developer designs, builds, maintains, and configures applications to ensure business needs are met. This role is responsible for developing technical solutions on the ServiceNow platform to satisfy the business needs of the IT department and beyond. This position is responsible for enhancing ServiceNow features within Bread Financial and supporting the business team in deploying a global solution.
Essential Job Functions
- Inspect/analyze/translate requirements into design, code, and configuration parameters. Produce design specifications and convert into functioning components through development and configuration. Identify areas of tool building prospect to aid in decision-making. Create/execute unit tests to ensure issues are proactively identified within the SDLC with a focus on quality and efficiency.
- Examine code to pinpoint errors and defects. Address known issues within development and production support. Review application code for self and others. Define, support, and enforce code standards and guidelines relevant to the applications and technologies being supported.
- Provide support as defined within team and role expectations. Cultivate relationships across roles, global locations, and organizations to maximize collaboration and efficiency. Address the root cause of data inconsistencies and recommend improvements. Ensure that the business has access to complete and accurate client data to support decision-making.
- Showcase expertise in developing and integrating ServiceNow across ITSM, CSDM, ITOM, Knowledge Management, GRC, SECOPS, HRSD, CSM, ITBM, Reporting/Analytics, and custom applications.
- Work autonomously with strong business knowledge in financial services and marketing. The complexity of projects, including technical challenges in systems and projects, ranges from medium to high, reflecting their critical importance to the business. Generate support for business outcomes. Monitor and review data in matter and client relationship management systems for accuracy and completion.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree Computer Science or Information Technology or related field of study
- 7+ years ServiceNow Administration
