Role Title:

Software Architect Analytics (PL/SQL)Location:

Bangalore, India. Should be willing to travel domestic and international

Responsibilities include:

Project delivery: Working as a team lead to deliver projectsDatabase objects: Creating database objects like tables, indexes, views, sequences, and packagesProcess design and development: Designing and developing processes like loading data from internal and external systemsETL code: Extracting, transforming, and loading dataDesign and implement ETL processes for data transformation and preparationDeploy machine learning models to production environmentsManage data pipelines for analytics and operational useEnsure data accuracy and integrity across multiple sources and systemsSQL query tuning: Using Explain Plan and hints to reduce response timeProgram development: Designing, developing, testing, and deploying complex PL/SQL programs using PostgreSQL, MSSQL, MySQLStored procedures: Developing stored procedures, functions, packages, triggers, and scripts to automate business logicDatabase performance optimization: Optimizing database performance by analyzing query execution plans and rewriting slow queriesAutomated unit test packages: Writing automated unit test packages by creating test data for all test scenarios, writing asserts for the test case, and executing test casesQA team coordination: Co-coordinating with the QA team for testing in QA Environment to get sign offCode push in production: Getting code pushed in productionTechnical support: Participating in 24x7 rotational technical support to solve business problemsInterfacing with teams: Interfacing with Functional team, Application Development Team and infrastructure teams

Education Qualification and Professional experience:Bachelor’s Degree8 to 10 years of relevant experience in the IT/ ITES sector

Mandatory experience required:5+ years of experience in data engineering within a production environmentAdvanced knowledge of Python and Linux shell scripting for data processingExperience with SQL/NoSQL databases (e.g., Redshift, Postgres, MongoDB)Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud services (AWS)
