Job Role: Business Head: Sourcing (Non-Denim)


Job Description:

The Business Head of Sourcing and Merchandising will be responsible for overseeing the end-to-end sourcing and merchandising strategies for the company. This role requires a strategic thinker with a deep understanding of the market, strong negotiation skills, and the ability to lead a diverse team to drive business growth.


Roles and Responsibility:

· He or She has to build the woven business under the Design to Delivery model with them through the vendor outsourcing model.

· He or She can source the products (both India and BD) to study and understand each of the existing brands of the company, their positioning, format, consumer base, distribution system, product categories, quality, Brand expectations, SOP, compliance, unique requirements and challenges and serve them with Design to Delivery solutions with complete internal satisfaction.

· Prepare the strategy for each of the brands and execute the design to delivery model flawlessly through an outsourced vendor system.

· Conclude with the management the Month wise targets.

· To bring and on board a required number of ideal vendors and supply chain partners for company’s business model (Garment factories) from India and abroad.

· To build a fast-track growth model with stability built in alignment with the mission of the company.

· To set up the lean, smart and self-motivated team to execute the above and independently lead, build and execute the business and operations with profitability.

· Supply chain to build: Garment factories and back-end value chain partners like printer, embroidery, washing , trims and packaging and accessory suppliers etc from Indian and overseas to become part of Our Client’s supply eco system


Skills Required:

· Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field. MBA or equivalent advanced degree preferred.

· 10+ years of experience in sourcing, merchandising, or a related field, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.

· Proven track record of developing and executing successful sourcing and merchandising strategies.

· Strong negotiation, analytical, and decision-making skills.

· Excellent leadership and team management abilities.

· Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

· Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
