Job Title : Mines Manager - Bauxite Mine                      Location : Dindori, Madhya Pradesh
Department : Mining                                                    Reports To : Managing Director
Salary : INR 50,000 per month
Job Summary :
We are seeking an experienced and qualified Mines Manager to oversee the operations of our Bauxite Mine. The ideal candidate should have at least 5 years of experience working in Bauxite Mines and must possess a 1st Class Mines Manager certificate. The Mines Manager will be responsible for ensuring safe and efficient mining operations, managing staff, and ensuring compliance with all regulations.
Key Responsibilities :
1.     Operational Management :
Oversee all mining operations to ensure they are conducted safely, efficiently, and in compliance with company policies and regulations.
Develop and implement short-term and long-term mine plans and schedules.
2.     Safety and Compliance :
Ensure all mining activities comply with safety regulations and company policies.
Conduct regular safety audits and risk assessments.
Implement and monitor safety training programs for staff.
3.     Staff Management :
Manage and supervise a team of miners and other staff.
Conduct performance reviews and provide training and development opportunities.
4.     Production Management :
Monitor production targets and ensure they are met or exceeded.
Optimize mining processes to increase efficiency and productivity.
5.     Budget Management :
Manage operational budgets and ensure costs are controlled.
Prepare and submit regular reports on mining operations, production, and budgets.
6.     Environmental Management :
Ensure all mining operations comply with environmental regulations.
Implement and monitor environmental management plans.
7.     Stakeholder Engagement :
Liaise with government officials, regulatory bodies, and other stakeholders.
Represent the company in community and industry forums.
Qualifications and Experience :
Ø  Educational Qualification : Must possess a 1st Class Mines Manager Certificate.
Ø  Experience : Minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in managing Bauxite Mines.
Ø  Technical Skills :
·      Strong knowledge of mining operations, processes, and equipment.
·      Proficiency in mine planning software and other relevant tools.
Ø  Soft Skills :
·      Excellent leadership and team management skills.
·      Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
·      Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
Physical Requirements :
Ø Ability to work in a physically demanding and challenging environment.
Ø Willingness to work in remote locations and in varying weather conditions.
