Title: Head of Cloud Data Architecture (Azure)

About the Role:

As the Head of Cloud Data Architecture specializing in Azure, you will lead the strategic planning, development, and deployment of Azure-based data architectures across the organization. You will be pivotal in driving Azure cloud transformation initiatives, optimizing data infrastructure for scalability, performance, and security, and ensuring alignment with the business's overall objectives.


Requirements

Key Responsibilities:

·        Develop and execute Azure data strategy aligned with enterprise goals.

·        Lead migration to Azure-native architectures using Azure tools.

·        Design scalable and secure Azure data architectures.

·        Adopt Azure technologies to enhance business intelligence.

·        Manage and grow Azure architecture team, fostering innovation.

·        Engage stakeholders to align Azure solutions with business needs.

·        Ensure high availability, disaster recovery, and optimize costs.

·        Implement data governance and compliance on Azure.

·        Embed robust security frameworks using Azure Security Center.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

·        Experience with Azure data warehousing solutions, big data technologies, and BI tools.

·        Knowledge of AI and machine learning frameworks on Azure.

Certifications:

·        Certifications in Azure architecture (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert).

Experience:

·        At least 10 years of experience in IT and data systems, with a minimum of 5 years in a cloud architecture role.

·        Extensive experience with Azure cloud services, including deployment, management, and troubleshooting.

·        Proven track record of leading large-scale cloud transformation projects.

Competencies:

·        Expertise in cloud architecture and system integration using Azure.

·        Ability to design and manage enterprise data solutions, ensuring scalability, reliability, and security.

·        Strong analytical skills to evaluate technologies and their business impacts.

·        Leadership skills to mentor and guide teams through complex projects.
